Printing user input(String) of an array in C language

In this article, we will discuss the concept of Printing user input(String) of an array in C language

In this post, we are going to learn how to write a program to print array of strings (string elements in single dimensional array)  in C language

Code to print Strings of an array

Code to  print Strings of an array using printf() scanf() function

In this code, we are going to learn how to print string elements (user input) in single dimensional array using printf() scanf() function

Program 1

#include <stdio.h>
#include <stdlib.h>

int main()
{
    char name[25];//declaring a char array
    printf("\nEnter your name:");//ask input from the user
    scanf("%s",name);//Getting string input
    printf("\n***print name from user input*****");//ask input from the user
    printf("\nWelcome %s",name);//print the input name
    getch();
    return 0;
}

When the above code is executed, it produces the following result

Enter your name: Vannan

***Print name from user input******
Welcome Vannan

Code to  print Strings of an array using gets() puts() function

In this code, we are going to learn how to print string elements (user input) in single dimensional array using gets() puts() function

Program 1

#include <stdio.h>
#include <stdlib.h>

int main()
{
    char name[25];//declaring a char array
    printf("Enter your name: ");
   gets(name);//ask input from the user

    printf("\n***print name from user input*****");//ask input from the user
    printf("\nPrint your name: ");
    puts(name);//ask input from the user

    getch();
    return 0;
}

When the above code is executed, it produces the following result

Enter your name: Mohan

***Print name from user input******
Print your nme: Mohan
