How to download and install Java on Windows

We can get Java from the Oracle Java download page. There are a number of different Java packages available according to the operating system. For this tutorial, we will be learning how to install the Java Standard Edition (SE) on Windows.

To install Java on windows in your system, download the installer program from Oracle

Then, click on accept license Agreement. Then, download the correct version for your operating system.

Then, click on the appropriate file for your platform.

Go to the location of the Java installation file and open the file.

Then click on “install”.

Congratulation, you have successfully installed java.

First, verify that it is the official Java plugin that is requesting permission to run. At the time of the production of this guide, the plugin’s name is Java(TM) Plug-In SSV Helper and it is published by Oracle America, Inc.
